It all started with two immigrant Latinas trying to make do in New York.
Belle was a single mom to be (by choice), she had done an independent production to realize her dreams of building a family.
February 22nd of the year of 2022, two weeks early, she had her baby in the big apple and who came to the rescue? Her newfound friend Julie. And so these two independent ladies who left their families to build something, started 2-22.
And proceeds of 2-22 are destined to help these them raise a little boy in the concrete jungle.
These two women bonded over their love for a new baby and of course fashion! Each time they met after baby talk the topic varied from handbags to sunnies, best designs for the best value and they realized two things. One that a great handbag design or a pair of shades could give them (or any woman a boost in confidence, spark a new conversation, or simply make them look the part.
Second, they realized a great affordable design was hard to come by! And so from Belle’s kitchen, the scavenger begun to find high fashion suppliers and create new high fashion affordable accessories
As mothers and as humans we want to have a positive impact in this world. Therefore, we are committed to delivering sophisticated, high-quality product that is VEGAN, with no animal leather, and no fur. After all, true luxury is looking good while doing good!
